My Gay Vegas New Years Eve 2013

Happy New Year everyone! After a long night of partying and a much needed day of rest yesterday I am ready for 2013. I rang in the new year at Share nightclub in Las Vegas with good friends and met some new ones throughout the night.

Looking back at 2012, it was a very good year for me. I want to thank everyone for continuing to check out my events from nightlife to pool parties. 2013 will see the return of Temptation Sundays pool party at the Luxor in May. This year will also see the launch of some new weekly events as well as events at Share nightclub. I am also going to be traveling a more in 2013 and hosting parties in San Francisco starting in February.

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year. May 2013 bring you all the joys and success you desire.

Weekend Recap: November 15 to 18, 2012

Hello Guys and Gals! This weekend started for me on Wednesday with a Trip up to Reno for a few days and it ended back in Las Vegas.

It was my first trip up to Reno, NV, it was a different city thats for sure, but it was a fun little getaway. I always wanted to take a photo in from of the “Reno Sign” and here it is:

Thursday evening I stopped by the 5 Star Saloon to check out the Reno gay nightlife. There was about 20 people inside enjoying the music and company of friends. I chatted up the bartender and a few of the patrons, it was a nice time. If you’re ever up in Reno stop by and check it out.

Then I was up at 4am on Friday morning to fly back to Vegas, just in time for the 1 year anniversary of Share nightclub.

On Friday night we celebrated the 1 year anniversary of Share nightclub with Stripper Circus, West Hollywood’s hottest event that invades Vegas every Friday. On Saturday night DJ Pornstar brought his monthly party, Pornstars in Vegas to Share Nightclub and the sexy guys from Next Door Studios dropped by.

 The guys from Next Door Studios dropped by to help us celebrate at Share. Johnny Torque and James Huntsman posed for a quick photo before they took to the stage to dance and pass out giveaways to the crowd.

The weekend wrapped up on Sunday night with some of the girls from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Delta Work, Morgan McMichaels, upcoming season 5 cast member Coco Montrese and friend Mayhem Miller.

Weekend Recap: Madonna and Sasha in Vegas!

Hello Friends!

This past weekend was fun in Gay Vegas and I have photos and video to share with you all. Madonna was in Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden arena for her MDNA tour. Fans where left waiting, as the so called Queen, was over an hour and a half late. But once she finally arrived the fans in attendance had nothing but good things to tweet and facebook.

Here’s a photo I got from a friend who was there. The stage looks like it was enormous.

I saw Madonna on her Drowned  World Tour years ago and thought that was her best album yet, so I didn’t attend the MDNA tour. Maybe the next album will inspire me to attend. You all know she’ll come up with something new soon. hehe.

While some of my friends where at Madonna, I was hanging out with the Madonna of Russia, or so she has been called. Pop artist Sasha Gradiva, performed at Share nightclub on Saturday night, October 13, 2012. Check out this video I shot.

Breakfast with Bon Jovi – Night with Colette Carr

Hello from Sin City. It’s Monday and I survived a super fun weekend in Las Vegas.

It all started bright and early Saturday morning with a campaign event for President Obama called “Breakfast with Bon Jovi!” it was like a dream come true. I have been a fan of Jon Bon Jovi since I was a little kid and my sister and I would sing his songs in our living room.

The party continued Saturday evening at Share nightclub with a fun performance by up and coming singer Colette Carr. Carr recently was on tour with LMFAO and is set to release her first album, Skitzo in a month. We hung out a little bit before her performance, she is a ball of fire and a lot of fun. hehe. The weekend also included a trip to Fashion Show Mall, the best place to get a bite to eat and do some shopping all at the same time on the Vegas Strip.

Vegas Weekend Recap: 9/13 to 9/16

Hey Party people! Its Monday! Did you survive the weekend? I know I did but boy what a fun time I had.

Before the weekend started, I spent the week relaxing in Emerald Isle, North Carolina. If you have never been to the Outer Banks, I recommend that you go and experience it for yourself. It was simply amazing! Over the 5 days I was there I got to swim with the fishes in the Atlantic, sail the ocean on a catamaran and take in some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.

I got back to Vegas late Friday night and headed right to the club to work. After thinking about it I should have just went home, hehe. I was on East coast time and had been up almost 24 hours at that point. But I saw a lot of my friends and had a blast dancing so it wasn’t so bad.

Saturday night I worked at Share nightclub and what a surprise we had! The band Plain White T’s showed up to party with us. It was so much fun. Hey there Delilah what’s it like in New York City? Scratch that… what’s it like in Sin City?

My buddy Jaymes Vaughan also dropped in on Saturday night to have a drink. You can catch him on the upcoming season of Amazing race on CBS. I tried to get some info about the show from him but he said he can’t talk about it just yet… Damn him. hehe!

To end the weekend on Sunday night, I headed downtown to Fremont Street and checked out Drink and Drag. I had a fun time, some friends and I played a few games of pool. Since I am taking a year off from drinking liquor (just hit the 10 month mark), I had a monster energy drink to wet my whistle. At $5 a pop, it was on par with the other venues in town for drink prices. For an hour of fun it cost only $7, as billiards was only $2 an hour on Sunday nights (rates vary per day). Not to shabby for some fun with friends and getting downtown to check out the scene.

After Drink and Drag it was off to Share nightclub for the new Booze & Nuts party, where the booze flow freely and the party gets nutz! Dance singer Adam Joseph popped in for a performance. WOW! What an amazing voice he has, if you haven’t heard of him google him now.

My Vegas Pride Week Recap

Las Vegas Pride week 2012 has come and gone and boy what a fun week and weekend it was. It all started Thursday night at Share nightclub with the official Boys Party of Pride. The iconic Deniece Williams dropped in to sing her 1980s hit “Lets Hear it for the Boy” and the crowd went wild.

Earlier in the evening on Thursday comedians Margaret Cho and Selene Luna entertained at the Mirage hotel & casino. Lets just say I laughed so hard if i was drinking milk, it would’ve come out my nose. After the show I got to hang out with the ladies and the laughs continued.

Friday night the Vegas pride parade took place in downtown Vegas on Fremont Street. Riding on the back of a convertible in the parade was fun. Almost fell of a few times though, I don’t know how beauty queens do it. Wave to the right, wave to the left, head turn, head turn… hehe!

By Saturday afternoon I was so exhausted I ended up missing the actual Pride Festival. I had to save up my energy for the Pride after party at Share nightclub with Jeffrey Sanker and DJ Chi Chi LaRue. Over 1000 people attended the Wet n Wild event with wild fun inside the club and some wet fun outside with water slides and a dunk tank. It was definitely the most fun party of the weekend.

Sunday afternoon the party moved poolside at Luxor hotel & casino for the season finale of Temptation Sundays pool party. The record number of attendees partied all afternoon and into the early evening with tunes from DJs Matt Lucio and HollyWoody. My buddy Frank Marino, star of Divas Las Vegas at the Imperial Palace stopped by for an afternoon of soaking up the sun. He joked around with me about being on the cover of Las Vegas magazine 6 times this summer. “How did you get on the cover so much this summer? What do I got to do put a damn DOT in my name?” Frank joked with me. “Just call me F DOT Pissed! hehe.” Lets just say both of us love media attention.

And to wrap up my Pride weekend, I attended the 34 People with Pride awards party at Revo Sundays inside Revolution Lounge at the Mirage. I was one of the 34 recipients of the Award. I am very appreciative to have been honored as one of the communities leaders. I just love doing what I do and if in some small way it helps the gay community gain acceptance, that makes me happy. Thanks to Pride for the recognition.

Weekend Recap: Labor Day Weekend 2012

Hello from Gay Vegas!

This weekend we celebrated Labor Day in Sin City with nightclub events and pool parties. Here is my recap and some fun photos.

Friday and Saturday night I partied it up at Share nightclub with Stripper Circus (Friday) and the launch of Gay.xxx on Saturday. Check out the hotties from Gay.xxx in this photo:

Sunday the fun continued pool side at Temptation Sundays pool party at the Luxor. Over 500 attendees soaked in the sun poolside and splashed around in the pool to celebrate the holiday weekend.

I ran into Teller of Penn & Teller fame over the weekend. He didn’t have much to say, hehe, but did strike a pose with me. Lets just say we are rock star living!

And before I go I would lie to say Happy Pride week everyone! This coming weekend is Vegas Gay pride and the entire week there are a ton of events to attend. Go and support your local gay owned businesses.
